Atlantis, The Palm Welcomes The Return Of Asateer Tent This Ramadan, Home To Dubai’s Most Renowned Iftar And Suhoor Experience

Atlantis, The Palm is set to welcome the Holy Month with the return of Asateer, its iconic Ramadan tent inspired by heritage, tradition and the spirit of togetherness. Renowned for its palatial setting and warm hospitality, Asateer once again promises an unforgettable Ramadan experience, bringing families and friends together to break their fast and gather late into the night.

Throughout Ramadan, Asateer will present a carefully curated Iftar, featuring rotating themed nights that celebrate the rich diversity of regional flavours. Guests can look forward to Arabesque, Persian, Khaleeji and Traditional evenings, each offering a distinctive culinary journey rooted in authenticity and craftsmanship. As the evening unfolds, Asateer transitions into an elegant Suhoor, designed for relaxed late-night gatherings.

Set against breathtaking views of the Arabian Gulf, Asateer’s striking aesthetic blends traditional Arabian design with contemporary influences, brought to life through atmospheric lighting and refined detailing. The spectacular venue can welcome up to 1,730 guests each night and offers a variety of seating options, including the outdoor Asateer Terrace, the Asateer Garden Terrace, and a selection of impressive Majlises. Group packages are available, making Asateer an ideal destination for intimate family meals, evenings with friends, or large-scale gatherings throughout Ramadan.

Iftar begins with the time-honoured tradition of dates and water laid on the table as live traditional Arabic music is softly played throughout the evening. The Iftar experience is priced at AED 295 per person on weekdays, from Monday to Thursday, and AED 325 per person on weekends, from Friday to Sunday. The price includes water and refreshing Ramadan juices. The extensive buffet menu has been thoughtfully curated by Chef Ali El Bourji, Director Culinary at Atlantis Dubai, showcasing a generous spread of classic dishes and regional favourites.

Key highlights from Chef Ali El Bourji’s menu include kebbeh sajieh, featuring minced meat, bulgur and aromatic spices, grilled over charcoal to deliver a rich, smoky flavour. Guests can also enjoy a traditional seafood paella, where fragrant saffron rice is slow-cooked with mixed seafood, fresh herbs and a deeply flavoured seafood broth. A standout of the experience is the spit-roasted whole lamb, marinated in traditional Middle Eastern spices, slow-roasted on a rotating spit, carved live and rolled in freshly baked saj bread. Adding to the live-cooking experience, a selection of freshly baked breads will be prepared in the tandoor, including tandoor roti, butter naan, plain naan, garlic naan and laccha paratha. The offering is complemented by the Fatteh and Foul Royal Bar, serving smoked eggplant and mini kibbeh fatteh layered with yogurt, chickpeas, cumin, garlic and pine nuts. Finally, no experience at Asateer is complete without visiting the oven-baked manakish selection featuring freshly baked open flatbreads topped with spiced lamb, aromatic za’atar and melted Akkawi cheese.

From 10pm until 3am, guests are invited to continue the evening with Suhoor where a live trio traditional band Oud player and singer will set the comforting tone of the evening. Served à la carte, the menu features an extensive selection of cold and hot mezzeh, manakish, soups, grilled meats, fish and seafood, alongside traditional Ramadan desserts, hot snacks, Ramadan juices and a variety of hot beverages, all available for a minimum spend of AED 160 per person.
